Position Title: Part-Time Music Minister

Reports To: Senior Pastor
Status: Part-Time (No Regular Office Hours Required)

Responsibilities:

• Lead Worship: Lead musical worship during Sunday services and special events.
• Plan Services: Coordinate with the pastor and other ministry leaders to plan and organize worship sets that enhance the overall worship experience and align with sermon themes.
• Rehearsals: Schedule and lead regular band and vocal rehearsals to ensure musical excellence and spiritual unity.
• Sound & Equipment: Maintain and oversee the care of all sound, lighting, and media equipment; coordinate necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer musicians, vocalists, and technical team members.
• Church Involvement: Be actively involved in the life of the church through worship, fellowship, and ministry.

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects His character.
• A heart for worship, service, and the local church.
• Musical proficiency in voice and knowledge of instruments (guitar, piano, etc.).
• Leadership and communication skills for guiding volunteer teams.
• Basic knowledge of sound systems and worship technology.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours: 15 hours/week minimum. Flexible, primarily Sundays & Wednesdays, rehearsals, and planning time. No regular office hours required.
