Easter 2025 Worship Set

Why come to the Easter 2025 service at FBC Silsbee

Celebrate the Resurrection

Easter is a time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, representing the victory over death and the promise of eternal life. Because of His love, God did not leave us in our brokenness. Jesus, God in human flesh, came to us and lived perfectly according to God’s design. Jesus came to rescue us – to do for us what we could not do for ourselves. He took our sins and shame to the cross, paying the penalty of our sin by His death. Jesus was then raised from the dead, symbolizing His victory over sin  – to provide the only way for us to be rescued and restored to a relationship with God. (John 3:16, Colossians 2:14)

First Step toward Belonging

God did not design us to walk our spiritual journey alone. Attending Easter worship provides a chance to connect with fellow believers, share in a common celebration, and strengthen your sense of community. Our desire is that our Easter services could be your first step in finding a people to belong to, not just building to attend. (Hebrews 10:24; Colossians 3:16)

Cultivated toward New Growth

Sometimes our church attendance can drift into a dull routine. Our Easter service will feature a powerful message, music, and prayer, providing opportunities for spiritual growth, renewal, and a deeper connection with God. Easter is a time to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for humanity, and to reflect on the meaning of his death and resurrection. Reminding us that when God restores our relationship to Him, we begin to discover meaning and purpose in a broken world. Even when we fall, we understand God’s pathway to be restored. God’s Spirit empowers us to pursue His design and assures us of His presence in this life and for all eternity. (Psalm 119)
