What the T.E.A.M.S. do...

"Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant...Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who works all in all." I Corinthians 12:1; 4-6 KJV

Each ministry position description you find listed here for our adult classes contain three parts... Necessary Gift. Purpose, and Primary Responsibilities. First, is the Necessary Gift. Each area of ministry responsibility requires the leader to have a unique spiritual gift that gives him/her maximum effectiveness in that area of service. Second, is the Purpose. A one sentence purpose statement is provided for each area of service. The purpose statement defines the goal of each individual's area of service. Finally, there are the Primary Responsibilities. Primary responsibilities describe the details of what the particular class leader should do. Learning and following these steps will teach leaders what to do as they aim to reach people, apply God's Word daily and make disciples. It needs to be understood that each person in a position of T.E.A.M.S. leadership should have the gift of leadership or work to develop leadership skills. They are being asked to lead!
